Closing performance
There were some awesome things I saw in the closing performance. In the last performance they showed some devices. It was x-rays,and heat device that was like a thermometer. They pushed it down the test dummy's throat and it showed the inside of him. Another man came and asked for a volunteer, Ana put one glove one her hand then she placed both of her hands on a wooden board. It showed the heat of her hand. Sadly we had to go but it was fun.

Big foot, little foot
In this experiment we had to take off our shoes and see what size we are. All of us didn't get to see what size we are but some people did. Mya was the smallest size. As you can see in the photo she is size 3-4.

Heat it up
This experiment I think it was called heat it up. You had to rub your hands together then place it on the bottom bulb and see if it bubbles up and if it does then your successful. Many people wanted to try it but didn’t have the time. I enjoyed doing this experiment it was really fun.

Mysterious black box
The black box was awesome when I looked inside. When I looked into the mysterious black box it was weird. I opened the box and the background color was yellow but when I closed it and I looked inside it was fully black. This experience was talking about day and night because when it is daytime you see colors but when it is nighttime you just see the darkness.

Migration of Maori
According to Ms Maude taught us about about the migration of maori’s. It was about how they got to New Zealand and how they survived. There were seven main boats and the names were called Aotea, Tainui, Te Arawa, Tokomaru, Kurahaupo, Takitimu, and Mataatua. To survive the parents had to go hunt for food or cook while their children stay home with their grandparents. The first thing they needed to look for was food, then their shelter, and lastly their water. Then their was this man called Ngatoroirangi that drew the outline of New Zealand.

Oreo milkshake / Technology
Today for food tech we had to make a Oreo milkshake. The thing I mostly enjoyed was mixing the milk, chocolate syrup, and the Oreo's together in the blender. It was really fun and the Oreo milkshake turned out great here is a photo of my Oreo milkshake. Our main focus for the rest of our cooking lesson's is on pastry making.

Apple turnovers
Walht: use measurement to make a apple turnover
Today for maths we made some apple turnovers. The first thing we did was we had to get two pieces of apple and see how much it weighs. We each got a piece of pastry I had to put it on the scale to see how much it weighs. My prebake apple pie weighed 113g. Our teacher weighed a post baked apple turnover and it weighed 80g.
We used the following things:
- Square pastry
- ½ apple
- Some milk
- Sugar
- Baking paper

Kayaking
We went to the aut millennium centre and done some kayaking. I was so excited to go swimming but I forgot my togs. I missed out on all the fun. It looked like a lot of fun but I had to sit on the bench and wait. People were laughing and smiling when they were kayaking.

Eating healthy
After all the groups finished two activities we went upstairs to have lunch. We made our own salad wraps. Amanda , Jane , and Nick were the people who set the food up for us. They wanted us to start eating healthy. There were many vegetables on the tables but most kids didn’t get it. We got goody bags from them and a drink bottle that was filled up with water. Thank you Nestle and Michelle.

In rock climbing there is a smiley , climber, and a guider. We were with a lady named Kiri she helped us out by telling us what to do. But I mostly enjoyed rock climbing, it was my favorite activity to do. Thank you Michelle and Nestle.

New Zealand Herald
In my opinion I think that they shouldn’t have an entire shift without their cell phone. If someone is hurt or you have family problems then they can’t contact you when your phone is switched off. But during work time they shouldn’t have their phones because it will distract them from work. They should only use their phones if it is an emergency.
